MECH

M.E.C.H. is one of the first prototyping and inventing clubs at the University of South Florida in Tampa where students propose their ideas, much like the T.V. show Shark Tank, and members and officials vote for projects based on criteria such as feasibility, risk, cost, and schedule. We are an active club year-round! Team MECH takes pride in ourselves on consistently meeting every Friday at 3 PM until whenever we finished building, coding, modeling, or 3D printing for the day. 

 

From individual inventions to large scale projects, from robotics lessons to competitions, the club offers a wide variety of chances to learn the design process while connecting with fellow colleagues from all walks of majors and life.​ MECH gives college students the freedom to explore their own project ideas and inventions without having to worry about funding their projects while in college.
